A Move to Curb Digitally Altered Photos in AdsLawmakers in Britain and France are proposing ways to signal when a picture has been retouched, to counter the sometimes-unrealistic body image these photographs convey. Under their proposals, ads containing altered photos of models would be required to carry disclaimers.
